Today I saw you imitate your dad outright for the first time. At dinner, Daddy yawned and you opened your mouth really big and made a sound. Then we all did it, you smiled and we all got a kick out of it.
On Saturday June 26 we had your 1st birthday party at the house. Your grandparents and cousins came and you received many gifts, including a great big wagon. We had barbecue from Rudy's and made you monkey cupcakes and had somewhat of a monkey theme for the party. We bought you a special cake from Whole Foods for you to "smash" the way babies do, but you really weren't too interested. You enjoyed your first taste of ice cream more. You also ate your first taste of barbecue with a side of blueberries (of course).

Your most favorite past time, pushing your walker (or laundry basket, ottoman, chair, etc) around the house, sometimes as fast as you can, you almost seem like you are running. You also like to stop and lift up the wheels and bang it up and down. Your party was in the afternoon so you are pretty much running on fumes at this point (hence the tongue hanging out).
