August 5, 2010 Dear Charles...

At naptime you took your usual position behind one end of the crib where you play “peek-a-boo” with me. You decided to spice up the game a bit by walking to me. You would hold on to the crib a little and then decide to let go and take about 5 steps to me. You did this several times! Daddy was out of town for only one night this week, and it happened to be last night so he missed the official first steps.

Before you started "walking" your favorite thing to do was to push your wagon around the yard. Mommy or Daddy would pull it and steer and you would push in circles or out to the front yard. We would stop to play with gates and hoses and things of interest along the way. If your behavior now indicates a future career choice for you then I would definitely say you would enjoy being a furniture mover. Finding big and heavy things to move around the house or lift up and down is one of your favorite things to do. Or maybe a weight lifter or doorman. You love opening and closing doors.

You also have your 3rd bottom tooth coming in. You have had 6 teeth, 4 on top, 2 on bottom for several months now, they all came in right after another around 6-8 months old.
