Last week we took you to the Valley to visit your Great Grandma Betty. It was a long drive both to and back but you managed to not complain too much despite having to sit in your uncomfortable hot car seat. Grandma Lynn did most of the driving and I sat in the back seat entertaining you playing with your lizard, cow and caterpillar hanging toys. Mommy was sick with a fever for part of the visit but we still made it to the beach for your first dip in the ocean. It was a very quick dip as it is too hot and sunny outside for you and you were pretty tired when we were there. We walked you in your stroller a couple of times around the neighborhood but I think you also got too hot after a while. It’s really humid down there on the coast. It was nice to see you with Grandma Betty, she talked to you and you smiled at her a lot.
